Visiting Queens in New York

A day trip out to Queens to look around the Museum of Moving Images [MOMI].  Great trip and also a got to see the classic high level rail tracks and also the cable car between Manhattan and Roosevelt island. And Buses.

A few stops out from passing under the East River on the subway heading for Ditmars Boulevard and we are above ground. 

Just like in the movies!  High level railways.

Now all we need to do is find the right bus, which turned out to be really easy in the end.

And we are almost at MOMI on 35AV.   Great buildings around here.

Now back home by bus, all the way this time. 

All the way over Queensboro bridge and the cable car to Roosevelt Island

Walking home back downtown

Union Square and the markets

We waited for the Cop to do a dance directing traffic but no such luck today

That was enough for the day!
