Easter Weekend - Wonderfully sunny in west London this weekend
Ideal opportunity to get all my Citrus plants outside from the greenhouses and back into the garden. The weather is meant to stay warm for a while so hopefully no sudden late frosts.
Peach tree still sitting in my temporary greenhouse, its the first time I have had enough greenhouse space to keep it inside so long into the year. Hopefully no peach curl this year, looks fine so far.
The last Citrus to be moved out of the plastic greenhouse - my Clementine tree.
Citrus still in the glass greenhouse, below.
My Citrus lemon "Vulc" now outside, below
Citron "Etrog" tree, below. Its lost some leaves but has lots of new growth showing
Orange tree, below
Finally taking apart the temporary greenhouse
And time to dig over the raised bed and tidy up the gooseberries and blackcurrant bushes. Also pot up some strawberry plants that have self propagated.
And whats left of of the rhubarb after first pick this year
Tomatoes, Onions and Cucumber young plants looking alright, below
Also my first attempts to lift some patio paving, proving harder than I had imagined. Ground out the paving grouting but they still are not lifting out.
I am planning on planting in my large Cordyline Australis tree here. Its in a pot at the moment and will be happier in the ground.
